RECIPE: Under The Sea Inspired by Willow - @willowbordercollie7

Ingredients

  • Cubed salmon pate - chopped into cubes and frozen prior to using so they take longer to eat 

  • Carrot, Parsnip and Apple Baby food purée - can be high in calories so be aware of the amount you put in if your dog is on a diet 

  • Strawberries - cut using Paws in Earnest treat cutter 

  • Blueberries 

  • Fat free greek yogurt mixed with spirulina powder (spirulina has a lot of great health benefits) 

  • Chicken wrapped sprats 

  • Peanut butter dog biscuits 

  • Peanut butter crumbs

Method

  • Mix together 4 tablespoons of yogurt with 1/2 teaspoon of spirulina powder 

  • Layer half the pate in the base of the Toppl (placing cubes between the ‘teeth’ in the base adds extra enrichment value) 

  • Layer a few blueberries on top of the pate

  • Cover with baby purée 

  • Repeat with a layer of pate and blueberries 

  • Cover with all of the yogurt/spirulina mix 

  • Slice strawberries and then cut stars using the treat cutter 

  • Place strawberries, sprats, biscuits and a few blueberries on the top 

  • Add peanut butter 

  • Remove Stopple and feed to your dog or freeze for a few hours before giving, especially if it’s a hot day!
